Towing
TowBoatUS Lake Wallenpaupack offers towing service 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week. (In Season).
On water towing is included for TowBoatUS members with no out of pocket cost.
Our daytime towing rates for non-members is $200/hr. After sunset, the rates increase.
Billing begins when we leave the dock, and ends when we return to our home dock. Our average tow on
Lake Wallenpaupack is one and one half (1 1/2) hours.
While we can often estimate your charges based on your location and destination,
it is difficult to guarantee these estimates for a number of reasons:
- It may take a bit of time to find a stranded boater that isn't aware of their location.
- We often run into situations that add extra time on scene such as stuck anchors, proximity to the shoreline, or obstacles in the lake.
- Different boats also tow at different speeds. Some boats tow 1 to 2 miles per hour faster than others.
Our captains gladly tow your watercraft from point of distress to your service provider or your desired location as directed by you the boat owner.
